So, here we are in the middle of a pandemic.... and it's an election year..... and for the first time in 25 years of teaching Ballroom Dancing I can't actually touch the people I am teaching. Yeah, odd to say the least.
Please know that I understand it's difficult, on so many levels for so many people. I probably feel much of the same way and am probably going through many of the same things. Thankfully, my family has not contracted COVID and my thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have had to deal with this disease. While I may or may not agree with everything that has been going on and continues to go on, I will continue to abide by the suggestions and requirements set forth by not only Gov. Kate Brown, but also Deschutes County Public Health. I have been in contact with both entities through the various changes and have been informed on the requirements to make sure I was operating in compliance. Bottom line is that no matter how this has affected me or my business, I absolutely do not want to be part of a potential problem. I have hope I will get to teach again "normally", and I have hope that we will get to enjoy dancing again, in a "normal" setting! Until then, let's make it as fun (and safe) as possible. Thanks to everyone who has stuck with me through this- what an interesting ride! Travis Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
