Dance With Travis

Owner / Instructor Travis Kokkeler, has been dancing and teaching for over 17 years. He was originally taught and trained through the FredAstaire System.

 

In addition to studying his Bronze, Silver, and Gold dancing in both smooth and international styles, he has also studied and achieved his Associates Dance Directors with High Honors. Travis has performed and competed both with students and professionally in the 17 years he has been dancing. He has taken numerous professional coaching and training classes with various top-level ballroom dance coaches, both in and out of the United States.

 

Travis teaches in Bend, Oregon and focuses on performing and competitive level dance instruction in all forms of partner dancing which includes; Swing, Latin, Ballroom, and Tango in both American and International styles.

 

In addition to private lessons, he also teaches two weekly group classes at the Bend Sr. Center through the Parks & Recreation that are open to the public and a LIMITED number of additional private lessons to new and/or wedding students based upon scheduling availability.

 

Travis resides in Prineville with his wife of 14 years, 14 yr. old son, and two German Shepherds. Hiking and backpacking are among their favorite activities. Travis is also a volunteer member of Search and Rescue for the Crook County Sheriff’s department.
